After the Rise: Book Two

For thousands of years the Ancients have been on Earth. At one time, they were all powerful ruling the land. Until they are defeated and forced in hiding and hibernation. A virus changes all that.

The virus is a weakening of the human race and a doorway back to power. They battle their way back to the top of the food chain, enslaving humans. Until the resistance rises again. It will take nothing short of special warriors for the battles ahead.

Vala is one of these warriors. She is a Mare, and like other Mares, possesses abilities that extend far beyond that of normal men. Very few Mares exist. Now aware of what she can do, Vala embarks on her quest to destroy the Civilized Ancients from within their very own walls.
